Amuay - Chocolates Artesanos

For this personal project, I wanted to go back to my Venezuelan roots (and love for chocolate!), to create a premium brand for an artisan chocolate company. Its design is inspired by the beautiful tropical vegetation and fauna in the Venezuelan rainforest with a fruity colour palette that matches the flavor's combinations.

The simple and geometric logo contrasts the organic use of realistic leaves in the background, creating a visual system that can be extended for additional products within the chocolate family.
 

* Originally the brand was going to be called "Amäy" (that means "Mother Nature" in Pemón language, a Venezuelan indigenous community), but I soon realized it sounded a lot like Amuay, which is a Venezuelan fishing town part of my childhood and family history, so I decided to change it.
